Counselor
Family Service is seeking licensed applicants for the position of Outpatient Counselor in our Counseling Program. There is some flexibility in setting this position at anywhere between 30-37.5 hours per week, depending on counselor's preference. This is a salaried position with benefits, including 6 weeks paid vacation/year, retirement, health insurance w/ vision and dental, and FSA.
The counselor’s primary responsibilities include providing individual, family, couples, co-parent, and group counseling services (both remote and in our offices), formulating psychosocial assessments, developing treatment plans with clients, carrying out the treatment process, evaluating the course and results of treatment, maintaining client records and charting in a timely manner, attending clinical staff meetings, supervising an intern, and meeting productivity standards.
About you:
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about helping underserved individuals and families through counseling. Ideal candidates would have a Master’s in Social Work or related degree, at least 2 years’ experience providing psychotherapy, as well as strong clinical skills. Applicants must have a PA license, preferably LCSW, although related mental health licenses will be considered.
Ability to speak fluent Spanish would be a plus but is not required.
