We are thrilled to share the incredible success of our recent Charity Poker Tournament! Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, 62 players came together for an afternoon of fun, strategy, and philanthropy—raising an outstanding $9,200 for Family Service of Chester County.
The energy in the room was electric, with players going all in—not just at the tables, but for the families we serve. Every dollar raised helps provide critical counseling, housing support, and family-strengthening programs for those in need right here in Chester County.
Your support ensures that parents, children, and individuals facing life’s toughest challenges don’t have to navigate them alone. This event wasn’t just about winning hands—it was about changing lives.
Thank you for being part of this journey with us. Whether you played, donated, or cheered from the sidelines, you made a difference. We can’t wait to see what we accomplish together next!
Stay safe,
Mark Butler, MS
Executive Director
In times of change, one thing remains constant—our unwavering commitment to the families we serve. With potential funding cuts and uncertainty surrounding federal programs, nonprofits like Family Service of Chester County are facing challenges that could impact essential services nationwide. But uncertainty does not mean defeat.
For more 78 years, we have been a pillar of support for parents, children, and individuals in need. Federal and state funding plays a crucial role in sustaining vital programs, and when those funds are at risk, so are the families who rely on them. Yet, no matter what challenges arise, we will continue to provide counseling, housing support, and family-strengthening services—because our community depends on it.
Adapting is in our DNA. When obstacles appear, we innovate. When funding shifts, we find new ways to meet the moment. And through it all, our donors, partners, and supporters stand beside us, ensuring that no family is left without help.
We know the road ahead may not always be easy, but together, we will push forward. Because when a community comes together, there is no challenge too great. We are here. We are ready. And we will continue to serve.
