December 2021 Email Update

In Mississippi, Abraham, a 13 year old boy was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder. After a successful transplant surgery, he received some other great news. He was selected for the Make-A-Wish foundation. He didn't ask for something but rather to do something. He wanted to provide food each month for the homeless in his community.

Abraham embodies the giving spirit and the power of selflessness. When we put others first, something incredible happens. Helping other people actually brings incredible purpose, joy, and happiness found nowhere else.

With every client interaction, we have the opportunity to help add value to someone else’s life. Family Service’s mission is focused on serving others and finding joy in that purpose. Our legacy for the last 74 years is a testament to this. And in this holiday season, may we be ever more aware of this and may we continue to embody the season of giving in our daily actions.
