Family Service of Chester County is seeking a licensed bilingual (Spanish-English) therapist for the position of Family Counselor in our Counseling Program. This is a full time position with benefits and generous PTO. The counselor will see children and adults, initially remotely due to COVID-19, but in the future both in our Chester County offices and at local schools.
We are looking for an individual who is energetic, motivated, and enthusiastic about counseling and about helping underserved individuals and families. Candidates should be fluent in Spanish, have a Master’s in Social Work or related degree, experience counseling children and youth, and strong clinical skills. Applicants must have a PA license, preferably LSW, LCSW or a related mental health license. The counselor is required to see clients at least three hours a week outside of regular business hours, either in the evening or weekday mornings before 9 am.
