“Why don’t you walk a mile in their shoes?”

Empathy is needed more than ever right now. Being able to relate and connect on a basic human level is vital. We must be able to reach across the table and not just see someone’s faults, views, or mistakes, but see them as human beings with real needs and desires. In this chaotic year of a worldwide pandemic, an election, social injustices, and an economic downturn, we must be willing to think bigger than just ourselves.

Family Service’s goal is to embody empathy and compassion to every person we encounter. It’s a lot easier said than done but our team is committed to serving our clients with the highest level of care. Our counselor’s are working with families in need of hope and who rely on our services. The Exchange Club Family Center has added 7 families in need of support since the start of COVID-19.

Our Impact Report 2020 will be available soon. Please be on the lookout for an email. The way we can continue to grow our impact is with your help. We are a collaborative organization, so our strength is in our diversity. We have a favor to ask: would you share this newsletter with one friend or colleague? Thanks in advance!

Your support of Family Service is incredibly important. It is a joy to be able serve Chester County especially in these trying times!  Stay well and please remember to vote on November 3rd.
