Facilitators

Young Adult Community Conferencing (YACC) encourages adult members of the West Chester borough community with an interest or experience in leading conflict resolution to join YACC as a community conference facilitator.

Your Role

As a facilitator, you will receive training to lead the YACC community conference process. You will:

• facilitate conversation between student offenders from West Chester University and a panel of volunteer community representatives
• direct the process of defining tasks for students as they seek to restore justice to individual victims and to the West Chester borough community at large

Your Commitment

YACC conferences take place one evening a month for 3 hours at Family Service’s main location in West Chester.

We ask facilitators to consider volunteering for 1 year. This includes participating in training activities.
