RSVP Nationwide

RSVP at Family Service is a local branch of a nationwide network of RSVP programs and groups. When you become a RSVP member, you become one of nearly 500,000 RSVP volunteers serving across the globe.

The national RSVP Program is an initiative of the Corporation for National and Community Service Senior Corps.

Raman Patel

Raman Patel is a chess coach at the Chester County Family Academy Charter School. When Raman came to RSVP after retirement looking for a way to volunteer in his community, RSVP and the Chester County Family Academy collaborated to offer the former engineer and competitive chess player the perfect opportunity—start and coach a chess team for second graders. Vincent Pucher

Vincent Pucher is a jack-of-all-trades hospital volunteer at Jennersville Regional Hospital. A retired Marine, Vincent volunteers year-round, repairing wheelchairs, transporting patients, making up admission kits, and even occasionally cooking in the hospital’s kitchen. When Vincent was named RSVP’s Volunteer of the Year in 2010-2011, The Daily Local wrote a special story about Vincent. Read the article »
