RSVP Nationwide

RSVP at Family Service is a local branch of a nationwide network of RSVP programs and groups. When you become a RSVP member, you become one of nearly 500,000 RSVP volunteers serving across the globe.

The national RSVP Program is an initiative of the Corporation for National and Community Service Senior Corps.

Become a RSVP Volunteer

It takes just a few, simple steps to join our Retired and Senior Volunteer Program:

  • Contact RSVP program director Leslie Stauffer:
    • Call Leslie at 610-696-4900 ext. 114
    • Email Leslie at rsvp@familyservice.us
  • Schedule a time to meet with Leslie and our RSVP staff, face-to-face, or schedule a quick phone consultation. We’ll discuss your life experiences, personal interests, goals, and ideas about volunteering and take note of any limitations or special needs you might have.
  • After talking, Leslie and our RSVP staff will personally suggest volunteer opportunities that reflect your interests and abilities. We’ll contact the “station” that needs your help and prepare you to begin volunteering there.
  • You can try out multiple volunteer opportunities—and you can contact RSVP at any time to receive a new assignment—but our hope is that you become an integral part of one “station” and develop a close, long lasting, relationship with the people there.
